I can’t hardly believe it, but I did it! I made my own lamp! Ok, that may not sound like the most exciting thing in the world to you, but let me tell you – it’s so gratifying to have made something that I use every day.
I first wanted to make a lamp when I came across a bunch of antique wallpaper rollers at my local antique store. They were so unique and just the right shape and happened to be hollow on the inside, so what else would you do with them? 🙂
So how does one make a lamp out of a wooden roller? And to take it a step further, where do you get a lampshade to match it? Well, let me tell you, www.ilikethatlamp.com has everything you need to make your own custom lamp. The owner of ilikethatlamp.com, Kiri, has thought of everything to give you the ability to make your own lamp out of just about anything! Of course, you can also repurpose one you already have or bring an antique lamp back to life.
