Affordable work wear under $30

It’s a New Year and for me, that means business travel. Nearly every January for the past few years I have to venture outside of my warm and cozy home office and visit my company’s corporate headquarters for annual meetings. Don’t get me wrong, I love this because I love being able to see my coworkers, but when you work at home your wardrobe mainly consists of workout pants and tshirts. That doesn’t exactly work when it comes to the corporate setting. :/ So, I ventured out to my trusty source, Amazon, to see what they had to offer. Of course I wasn’t surprised to see so many affordable work wear options for under $30! Check out my favorite finds below!
First is this adorable 3/4 sleeve A-Line dress. This dress looks great with a pair of heels or flats and a simple necklace. The dark color works well in a professional, corporate setting, and the best part – it has POCKETS! 🙂
Similar to the dress above, this short-sleeve A-Line dress can work great for summer months when it’s hot outside, but it also works well in colder months paired with a cardigan. For a little extra fun, dress it up with a pair of leopard or patent heels and a long necklace! And yes, it also has pockets! 🙂
Breaking away from the A-Line dresses, this long, belted dress is another great professional choice when it comes to affordable work wear. It’s conservative enough to be appropriate for the office, but is also figure-flattering so it could easily transition to after work dinner or drinks. And, the dark red/wine color is a nice change from corporate black or navy blue.
Finally, this sleeveless, belted A-line dress looks great with a cardigan and flats. The hunter green color is flattering and perfect for winter.
