I’ve recently started trying my hand at PVPP, which is a popular sign making technique, especially among those with some sort of machine that cuts vinyl (like my beloved Silhouette Cameo. PVPP stands for: Paint, Vinyl, Paint, Peel.
Basically, what this means, is you paint a piece of wood or canvas, then you place a pice of vinyl onto the painted board to use as a stencil, then you paint over the stencil, then as it’s almost dry, you peel the stencil off and you have your finished product!
I’ve been scared to try the PVPP method for a while, but I finally took the plunge and I’m pretty much obsessed! I have a ton of boards prepped and ready for some vinyl and paint.
Here’s a quick look at what I’ve been up to so far!
