Fruity Caribbean Margarita Perfect for Cinco de Mayo
Can you believe today is the first day of May?! That means that Cinco de Mayo is this week!
While not everyone may celebrate or observe Cinco de Mayo, I can tell you, that I most definitely do! Since my husband and I got married six years ago, we have always made all of our favorites for Cinco de Mayo: Tacos, Quesadillas, Salsa, Guacamole, and of course, margaritas.
This year I decided to mix it up a bit and rather than make a traditional margarita, I wanted to create one that captures my love for summer since it’s right around the corner! This recipe is super easy and will quickly take your mind to the beach while still giving you the traditional margarita taste that you love.
- 1 shot Malibu Pineapple Upside Down Cake
- 1 shot 99 Bananas
- 1 shot Jose Cuervo
- 2/3 cup Dole Orange Pineapple Banana Juice
- 1 splash Grenadine
- Combine alcohol in shaker with fruit juice and shake.
- Pour over crushed ice in margarita glass.
- Add a splash of grenadine and garnish as desired.
For an extra fun touch, garnish this drink with a fruit wedge, melon ball kabob, or tiny umbrella!
