This weekend I started cleaning and reorganizing my kitchen as part of the A Bowl Full of Lemons 14-week Home Organization Challenge. I’m only two days in and I’m already exhausted!
I thought I would share with you some of the things I’ve used to help me get my kitchen organized, so this week’s Sunday Style Faves is all kitchen/home items.
Con-Tact® Grip Ultra Shelf Liner in Graphite • Contact • $9.99 – I picked up some of this shelf liner at Bed, Bath & Beyond and so far I’ve used it on the bottom of the cabinet under my sink and another cabinet where I keep glass pyrex dishes. It’s super easy to cut and there’s enough on the roll to provide coverage in multiple cabinets/shelves.
Bali Blinds Dec Spring Tension Rod, 24 by 36-Inch, Bronze • $9.99 – I’ve wanted a curtain for the window over my kitchen sink for quite a while, but I didn’t want to commit to mounting hardware the wall or the cabinets, so I knew I needed a tension rod. Most of the tension rods I found though were not very cute or match my stuff very well, so I was so excited when I found this bronze option!
Grayline 40710, Jumbo Kitchen Helper Shelf, White • $5.72 – We had too many mugs and glasses for the cabinet we kept them in, but only because we weren’t using the space very well. I noticed there was enough room to maybe fit another shelf in the cabinet, but instead of cutting one to size, I opted for this shelf so I can move it to another cabinet if need be.
InterDesign Kitchen Lazy Susan Pantry Cabinet Binz 1/8, Clear • InterDesign • $11.99 – I just ordered these, so I haven’t received them yet, but they are bins designed to fit in a a lazy suzan. If you know anything about these horrible contraptions, there’s not a good way to keep things in there without getting frustrated. I’m hoping these bins will provide the solution I’m looking for.
Multicraft Imports Paintable Wooden Tray with Handles, 8-1/8 by 4-5/8 by 2-1/8-Inch • $5.29 – This isn’t the exact tray I have, but it was close enough to give you an idea of what size mine is. I picked up my tray back in October at Target in the Dollar Spot and painted it to match my color scheme. I now use it to hold my straws, individual coffee creamers and sugar packets.
Luminous Porcelain Dip Bowl – Square • Pier 1 Imports • $1.20 – This cute little bowl is where I’ll keep my rings next to the kitchen sink when I’m cooking or cleaning and can’t wear them. This, along with the hand soap & lotion, will sit on the cake server as a cute way of keeping my sink area organized.
de-luxe MAISON Sink Set, Hand Soap & Hand Lotion Amber Vanilla 1.0set • $12.99 – I love soap/lotion combos as it’s essential to keep your hands moisturized, especially after cleaning and washing your hands frequently.
Everyday White® Medium Footed Cake Server • Bed Bath & Beyond • $14.99 – This cake stand isn’t the exact one I have next to my sink, but an option I really like. I use mine to hold my soap/lotion and ring dish – it’s super cute and helps keeps things organized.
